Configure Directory Security

1. Navigate to your windows explorer folder.

1. Click on Windows (C:).

2. Locate your Casper folder.

1. Left click then right click on the Casper folder. The following will appear.

1. Select Properties. The screen will look as follows.

1. Click on the Security tab. The screen will look as follows.

1. Click on the Edit button. The following will appear.

1. Click Add. The following will appear.

1. Click on the locations button. The following will appear.

1. Make sure you have selected the PC.

2. Click OK. This will take you back to the following screen.

1. In the white memo box type in “everyone”.

2. Click on the Check Name button. Note once you have done this “Everyone” will be underlined.

3. Click OK. This takes you back to the following screen.

1. Note that Everyone is now in the top list, click on everyone to highlight.

2. Check mark “Full Control”.

3. Click OK. It may take a moment to adjust everything.

4. When it’s completed it will take you back to the main screen.

1. Click on Advanced. The following will appear.

1. Click on the Change Permissions button. The following will appear.

1. Uncheck mark “Include inheritable permissions from this objects parent”. The following will appear.

1. Click Remove. This takes you back to the following screen.

1. Check mark the box next to “Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object”.

2. Click OK. The following will appear.

1. Click Yes.

2. Click OK until you are back to your main C drive screen.
